10th SENATE: WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND, NOTHING IS WRONG WITH MUSLIM-MUSLIM PRESIDENT AND SENATE PRESIDENT, IGBO'S NIP KALU..

The Senator representing Abia North Senatorial District, Sen. Orji Uzor Kalu who declared interest in serving as the 10th Senate President, Kalu in his speech has called on the president Elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and Nigerians to consider Zoning the senate President to the South East. He continued that it is not right to have a Muslim- Muslim tickets for President and Muslim-Muslim Senate President. Reacting to the statement by the group of Igbo's noted that South East is not ripe for the office of the senate President, Dear Uzor Kalu, "let's keep building bridges and flyovers by 2040 we might be ripe for office of the senate president, The bridge will be long enough . We must not allow our emotions to get the better part of us, Besides nobody should use religion to contest for office of senate president . Nothing is wrong with muslim senate president , Religion shouldn't be a factor in choosing the leader of the senate. History beckons make we no sit on fence abeg , A Muslim senate president from the North will pave way for an Igbo senate president in the next 8 years" they added. Recall that OUK, declared that nothing is wrong with the Muslim-Muslim ticket during the APC Presidential election and has come out to condemn it for Senate President.

2023 Election: I Will reclaim my mandate -Senator Onwe

The candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Ebonyi Central Senatorial Zone in Ebonyi State, Senator Emmanuel Onwe has vowed to challenge the election which produces the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Ken Eze as the winner in the last Saturday poll.
