Blessing CEO arrested by police over involvement in IVD and late wife, Bimbo’s case

Blessing Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO, is a relationship guru, has finally been arrested by the Nigerian police over her involvement in IVD and late wife, Bimbo’s case. A video that is currently going viral on Instagram and twitter showed the relationship coach being led to an armored police car. Blessing CEO reportedly avoided court appearances for weeks before being taken up this morning. It was said that the mother of two began limping when she saw the officers.

Ebonyi lawmakers threaten speaker with impeachment over gov’s loan request.

Crisis appears to be brewing at the Ebonyi State House of Assembly following the demand by members to impeach the Speaker, Francis Nwifuru, if he refuses to resign. Nwifuru, who is also the governor-elect, has been the Speaker since 2015. A document, titled, ‘Ebonyi Speaker under fire to resign or risk impeachment,’ signed by the Public Relations Officer of the Assembly, Mr Egede Sylvester, and obtained by our correspondent, said the members demanded the immediate resignation of Nwifuru and his deputy, Kingsley Ikoro, or they should face impeachment.
