APGA frowns at the attempt of evil minded political jobbers to smear the hard earned reputation of Chief Sir. J.J. Ezeokafor popularly known as Jezco.

APGA has frowns at the attempt of evil minded jobber to smear the hard earned reputation of Chief. Sir. J.J Ezeokafor, in the statement signed by the National Publicity Secretary, Barr. Tex Okechukwu. it read as follows; The attention of APGA national leadership have been drawn to the unfounded rumour being peddled against our highly revered national stakeholder, Chief Sir, Joseph Ezeokafor (Nwachi Ekwulobia), the Chairman of Jezco Group of companies and we deemed it necessary to set the record straight for the benefit of the discerning minds. The unfounded rumour being peddled against him is that he sponsored Labour Party candidate in Aguata against APGA candidate. There is no any iota of truth in that rumour. We know those in Ekwulobia that are behind the rumour and we know that their reason for peddling the unfounded rumour against Jezco is to pit him against Governor Soludo so that they will continue manipulating the people of Ekwulobia the way they have been doing in the past. These people are known political jobbers from Ekwulobia that are looking for what to gain from government but the difference between them and Jezco is that Jezco interest is what will benefit Ekwulobia as a community and the common man in Ekwulobia. He is not after his personal pocket because he is already blessed by God. Chief Sir. Joseph Ezeokafor is a man of impeccable character that cannot be associated with backstabbing. The national leadership of APGA gave him the crown of the party national stakeholder because of his input for the progress of the party. He received this honour before the emergence of a worthy Son of Aguata as Anambra Governor and the national leader of APGA. He did not sabotage APGA in the past and will not do it now that a worthy Son of Aguata is Anambra Governor and the national leader of the party. There is no way Jezco will work to destroy a house he helped to build. He is part and parcel of those that worked tirelessly and contributed immensely towards the actualisation of Prof Soludo governorship project. This is his government and he will not do anything that will affect Soludo government. What will Jezco gain from sponsoring Labour Party House of Assembly candidate against APGA candidate, absolutely nothing. As a matter of fact, the so called Labour Party candidate in Aguata is not known to Jezco. So there is no way he will sponsor someone he has never met all his life. During the Presidential election, APGA faithfuls in Ekwulobia came to Jezco and he made provision of logistical support to them that they will use and prosecute the election. They also came to him during the House of Assembly election on Friday and appealed to him to help them with cash to prosecute the election. He made frantic efforts to source the cash for them and was able to get cash that he made available to them for their logistics a night before the election. So he cannot do all these and still be associated with the sponsorship of Labour Party candidate against APGA candidate. Our Governor should be careful with those peddling this unfounded rumour. He should read between their lips and see that all they wanted is to pit him and Jezco against each other. Jezco is a committed member of APGA and he is too big to be associated with underhand dealings. APGA as a party should see the peddlers of this rumour as enemies of their party because the party stand to gain a lot from Jezco as their national stakeholder. What they will gain from Jezco they cannot gain it from the political jobbers peddling this unfounded rumour with the evil intention of painting Jezco black and to also pit him against the Governor. We State without mincing words that Jezco did not work against APGA in the just concluded House of Assembly election because he does not have any reason to do anything that will be against the interest of a government he helped to put in place. Shame will be the portion of the political jobbers that want to pit Jezco and Governor Soludo against each other. Their relationship will continue waxing strong for the betterment of APGA, Anambra State and Nigerians at large.
